Work great!

Used this for a 1/2" input hose off a garden hose y-splitter to a fill valve for a homemade fertigation tank using a 5 gallon food-grade bucket. Recommend using Teflon/plumbers tape on any plastic threading if not metal. Note that these WILL spray out the seam where the male barb meets the female threaded coupling IF there is insufficient water pressure or it is forcibly pushed to the side. I've left the system under pressure and so far no leaks.
