Bootstrap Farmer Heavy Duty Seed Starting Pots 3.3 inches

I like the quality of these pots as they will last a long time and less flimsy pots in the landfill.

Bootstrap 3.3”x3.3” seeding pot

I like the size of these pots, and while they are heavy enough to last for years to come, I was disappointed that the wall thickness is thinner that the bootstrap 4 cell tray and the large 5” square pot. It would also be nicer if the centre hole in the bottom was larger so one could push the soil out with one’s finger. That being said these will be put into service as soon as my seedlings are ready to be up planted.

I hesitated to purchase these pots because of the price but I am so glad that I did! They are going to last forever and I really like how they fit perfectly in the 1020 trays. Shipping was super quick and everything was packaged well.

Will last forever!

Love the quality of Bootstrap Farms. I’m glad that I found a shop in Canada that carries the brand! Indoor Farmer had my order to me in approx 1.5 weeks. They were also prompt when I had questions. I’ve placed another order!

Best pots for root health!

I run an all season urban farm and sometimes have trouble with root rot in lettuce particularly after transferring them from soil blocks to a small pot. These pots seem to fix that problem, also allowing for faster growth. They allow the roots to fill out the bottom with plenty of air circulation, since there are more air holes on the bottom and some are on an angle, preventing the tray underneath from blocking air circulation. They are sturdy and the extra strength version can be washed in the dishwasher. I also use the shallow bootstrap farmer trays. They are way easier to manage/sterilize than deeper trays, sturdy and allow more airflow.
