Organic Top Dress (Dry) Base Nutrients
Organic Top Dress (Dry) nutrients are naturally sourced and contain ingredients like bone meal, oyster shell flour and kelp meal. Organic Fertilizers are normally designed to work with soil that already contains mineral nutrition or compost, or for grower's who want to build their own soil. Organic top dress nutrients are typically designed to release nutrients slowly over time, and are normally added every 2-4 weeks, instead of every watering like liquid nutrients. This type of nutrient excels for outdoor growers because of its cost effectiveness and slow release function, but many indoor grower's are finding excellent results and value. The minerals in an organic top dress are designed to be broken down further by the microbiology of the soil, so we do not recommend using them with inert growing media like coco coir, peat mixes (Pro-Mix/Sunshine Mix), Rockwool or water culture.
