Might Work for Growers with Different Needs
I’ve been a loyal user of Root Riots and love their spongy texture, as well as the fact that I can wring out excess water without them falling apart. Unfortunately, finding Root Riots in wholesale quantities in Canada is challenging, so I decided to give Canna Root Plugs a try. When they arrived, I quickly realized they’re quite different. These plugs are essentially dense coconut coir with minimal binder, making them very prone to crumbling—so much so that I might as well use a loose soil mix instead. On the bright side, they don’t develop algae on the surface as easily as peat-based plugs do, which is a plus, but not enough for me to purchase them again.
I like these plugs, let’s you control the feeding
Another Quality Canna Product
Great product comparable to the best plugs out there. Even knocked a day off of my already stellar times. Add some start + rhizo to the plugs, your hormone of choice , a good rh and 75-80 degree temps and watch those Snow White roots explode!
Great plugs
Canna root plugs, like all canna products are stellar. I love how they utilize coco in them as well. I do find they tend to dry out a bit faster but I just ensure to give them a few squirts every 3-4 days on the plug directly. With the right rooting hormone, and cloning conditions I’ve seen these with fluffy, white as snow, gorgeous roots in 9-11 days faithfully over and over! Leave it the boys at Indoor Farmer to get these gems into our hands in a time when for some reason good plugs are so hard to find in Canada.
Canna rootless top notch
These really work very well. Every plant rooted. In desired environment of course
